anātmā
अनात्मा
All that is other than self; all objects of consciousness.
In Vedanta
The body, senses, mind, and all objects of experience. Anātmā is mithyā — it has no independent existence apart from ātmā. Discrimination between ātmā and anātmā is the foundation of viveka.
