jñānam
Knowledge, abhidhā asaṃdigdhaṃ (not negatable and free from doubt).
In Vedanta
Self-knowledge — the direct, immediate recognition that ātmā is Brahman. Jñāna is not information about Brahman but the removal of self-ignorance by the words of the Upaniṣads, unfolded by a teacher. It is not a mental state or experience that comes and goes, but a fact that, once known, cannot be unknown. Jñāna is the sole means to mokṣa — no action, meditation, or experience can substitute for it.
