mumukṣutvam
The state of desiring mokṣaḥ.
In Vedanta
An intense, burning desire for liberation — the fourth of the four qualifications. Mumukṣutvam is not casual spiritual interest but a clarity that freedom from self-limitation is the only pursuit that truly matters. It arises when a person, through viveka and vairāgya, recognizes that no amount of worldly achievement can resolve the fundamental sense of inadequacy.
