praṇidhānam
Respectful behavior with Īśvara in mind.
In Vedanta
Surrender or devotion to Īśvara — offering one's actions, thoughts, and their results to the Lord. In the context of Yoga, Patañjali lists Īśvara-praṇidhāna as a means to samādhi. In Vedānta, this attitude is the heart of karma-yoga — acting with Īśvara in mind transforms ordinary action into a means of inner purification and prepares the mind for self-knowledge.
